Scottish young farmers all set for an inspiring conference weekend

Among the many highlights of this year’s Scottish Association of Young Farmers’ Agri and Rural Affairs Conference sponsored by Massey Ferguson will be the chance to visit a farm specialising in the quintessentially Scottish product of venison.

More than 80 delegates are expected to gather at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Dundee on 15-17 November for this key event in the SAYFC calendar. Under the umbrella theme of ‘Sustainability for Future Farming’, the conference features a busy programme of activities with guest speakers, presentations, breakout sessions and panel discussions, as well as the hugely-popular farm tours.

Delegates who visit Stagison at Downfield Farm in Cupar, Scotland’s only field-to-fork venison farm with its own abattoir and butchery, will be able to see exactly how the operation’s holistic approach to production is paying dividends in today’s farming environment. Afterwards, the party will move on to Hamilton Reekie Group, MF dealer in Cupar, to get the lowdown on some of Massey Ferguson’s latest products.

“We are very pleased to be supporting SAYFC again this year and are looking forward to a great weekend,” says Hamish Brown, Area Sales Manager –Tractors, who will be representing Massey Ferguson along with Derek Neil, Area Sales Manager – Harvesting, and staff from Hamilton Reekie.
