Massey Ferguson is set to be a keynote sponsor of the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster (YFCU) third agri conference on 26 January 2019.
Under the banner ‘Shaping Our Agri Culture’, the event will be centred on the La Mon Hotel, County Down.
Delegates will enjoy a mix of formal presentations, workshops and farm visits.
“The event takes place at a time of tremendous change for agriculture in Northern Ireland,” said James Purcell, chair of the YFCU agriculture and rural affairs committee. “But with change comes opportunity. And it is this driver which will form the backdrop to the event.”
“We want to enthuse and excite delegates about the tremendous prospects that exist as they plan the future of their own farming and related businesses,” he adds. Regardless of sector, the event has something to offer every agribusiness plus farmers of all ages.”
Alan Jagoe Vice Chairman of Agri Aware and a former President of Macra na Feirme will deliver the keynote address at the conference.
Lindsay Haddon, Massey Ferguson Advertising and sales Promotion Manager said: “This is going to be a great forward-looking event. Everyone involved in the business of agriculture has a huge responsibility to help shape and contribute to the future of our vital industry – especially the upcoming generation. As one of the leading brands of farm machinery, Massey Ferguson is delighted to be playing a principal part in a conference programme that has its sights set firmly on the challenges and opportunities of the future.”
